- Former Judge – Mississippi Court of Appeals, Former Ninth District Chancery Judge – (Warren, Sharkey, Issaquena, Washington, Humphreys and Sunflower Counties – was seated in Greenville, Mississippi) Served as a Special Master Judge and as a Justice Court Judge in Warren County, Mississippi
- Twice appointed by the Mississippi Supreme Court to serve as a Special Chancery Judge in Scott and Rankin Counties
- Served as a special appointed City Court Judge in Port Gibson, Mississippi
- Practiced both civil and criminal law as a solo practitioner
- Licensed to practice in the Mississippi Supreme Court, U, S. District Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. Have litigated cases in all of these courts

- Graduated Magna Cum Laude from Horizons University in Paris France with a Master's Degree in French. Thesis: “International Law and the Deterrence of Criminal Activities in France and in Other Countries.” The classes were taught in French and the thesis was written in French. (2023)
